Hey there. Welcome to another episode of Becoming Seen, the art and science of creating authentic visibility. I'm your host, Pam Hamilton, and I'm thrilled to be here today. In this episode, we're gonna be diving into the topic of living by design and unleashing the power within you. Living by design. What the heck does that mean? Right? Well, living by design is about consciously creating life you desire as opposed to living by default. It's it's about embracing your authenticity and tapping into the incredible power within you. And that all starts with the mindset.

You have heard that saying, free your mind and the rest will follow? That's because the truth is, our thoughts shape our reality. Recognizing the patterns of our thinking is the 1st real step toward transformation. For example, how often do you catch yourself thinking, I can't do this, or I'm just not good enough. Who the heck am I to be dealing with this? These are the limitations we place on ourselves. It's crucial to recognize these thoughts and understand that they don't define us. The simply narratives we've created over time, stories we tell ourselves about us. So let me give you a couple of tips that's gonna help you. Tip number 1.

What I just described is exactly where mindfulness practice can help. You just take a few moments each day to observe your thoughts without judgment because mindfulness helps you become aware of the negative patterns so you can begin to break free from them. Right? Another great tip. Number 2, you can replace limiting beliefs with positive affirmations. You can challenge your negative self talk and limiting beliefs by using those affirmations to reshape your mindset and introduce new, empowering narratives. Right? Better stories. And by repeating them daily, and whenever the old story comes up, you can begin to reinforce a positive mindset. So the thing to remember, though, is that overcoming mindset limitations is a journey.

It's not a destination. It's gonna require commitment and self compassion. So tip number 3, visualize your goals and your success regularly. That's not gonna just help you with the negative self talk. It's going to help you actually Get a real picture of what you want and what you desire, and then you can let your vision guide all of the actions you wanna speak and all that you wanna do and all the words you wanna speak. So you're always coming from that vision and creating it in your life. Right? Because so many times, we think we want something, and we say we want it, but we don't really even know what that looks like. We're not really clear on those goals, we have no clarity.

Visualization will help you begin to create all of that so you can move where you're going to. And number 4, and I say this all the time, be grateful for everything because life is a gift, and every day is precious. When you shift your focus from what's lacking to what you're grateful for, just regularly Journaling about your blessings will cultivate a positive mindset. Now that we've identified and started overcoming mindset limitations, let's talk about unleashing that power within you. This power is your unique blend of talent, passion, strengths, and differences waiting to be fully expressed. This is the part where visibility matters. You have to be courageous enough to put yourself out there, and that's easiest if you can just be your true self. So tip number 5, Embrace your authenticity.

Don't be afraid to be yourself. Embrace your quirks. Love your differences. Celebrate your achievements, and share your journey authentically because that authenticity is your superpower.
